Million Dollar Baby-Review

The movie directed and starred by Clint Eastwood though apparently revolves around the craze of boxing, it showcases more deeper feelings of a bond between two people. The ultimate fascination for boxing and the consequent close relationship between Frankie Dunn (Clint Eastwood), the boxing coach, and Maggie Fitzgerald (Hilary Swank), a woman in 30s who wants to make a place in the boxing arena, form the main flow of this movie. A relationship that grows stronger than a blood relation and that cannot just be confined with labels like friendship makes viewers more involved in the movie as it moves from frame to frame. The emotions in the climax that are extraordinarily lived by both the lead roles are a must watch.

"As effectively portrayed onscreen in “Million Dollar Baby,” that connection between strangers can ultimately produce a bond stronger even than blood."
